Baltic Girl
Naked a foot on a pale shore
She runs on soil and snow, un-
tamed
Sealed lips of ice kiss Her
nimble toes
As grinning pins to delicate veins
Her skirt of lace follows closely
Like midnight waves in reverse
Moonlight glows around her
faintly
Before She trips and sinks, fully
immersed
Amber glows in murky bowls
Surrounded by tall and haunting
woods
Wild screams of wind caress the
waves
High above her descending
frame
A ruby corset grips Her ribs tight
As life struggles to feed on air
The summer fades into distant
sight
And death begins to bloom
again
