About This Poem

haiku 17

white dust dropped
upon the barren trees
white diamond glitter

white dust blew upon the prairie plains resembling sand dunes at the beach.

Winter arrived on the plains
Halloween will see the blanket of white
It will be a cold night for the children
The trick and treats may be very sparse
Especially for the very young.

No handouts for the kids tonight. I ate all the candy myself. Actually, you'll be happy to know the weather is forecast fair. Love, daver

Enjoyed reading your creative work..Maybe the little ones will be bundled and carried out to do their trick or treating..So cute are they..We will have Trunk or Treat tonight at church..Everyone will put goodies in their trunk and the little ones will come around to get goodies..Then we will have Chili and Hot Dogs inside for everyone to enjoy..And Fall Festival also..Sara

I enjoyed the three perspectives...I hope the weather does not affect Halloween too adversely for the children!
