A most hungry diner parody

The Rhode Island Red lay on a bed
Of carrots and gravy and peas
And along came a miner a most hungry diner
And asked, "May I have some please?"
It was served on a plate that he hastily ate
And washed it all down with cold beer
Then he yelled from the rear with a roar all could hear
Hurry and prepare me some deer
The Chef responded contritely in a voice politely
Alas, we don't have any here
The miner un-replete then arose to his feet
And departed for fresh atmosphere
But in the woods it's presumed that he was consumed
By a ravenous grizzly bear
For all that was found in the forest on the ground
Were his dentures and a few strands of his hair
