Tide

One by one, your dreams are torn
until you're left hollow inside.
There can't be happiness for you
because it's slowly melting away.
Castle walls are made of sand,
memories and dreams ebb in the sea.
You start to feel the exhaustion
and soon you'll waste away inside;
nothing can stop the relentless waters.

    Powerful words. You describe so well exactly how I feel some days. Hollow.
