Whoa David! Life can undoubtedly lead to one mishap after another! Closed spaces - now that's just a feeling of suffocation no one should have to endure. And the part of stepping in a paddle would be funny if it happened to someone else(actually it sounded really sad because you'd just talked about getting a cuddle which translates to warmth -oh the irony). Lovely write! Nicely executed!
