Halloween Legend

Halloween Legend Many years ago there lived a man called Old Man Bill His house still remains so creepy up on the hill Its windows always look like they’re staring back at you That’s if you dare to take a walk through Over to the left of the house still exists a graveyard Some say that’s where he buried his victim’s without grave marks Some say they still see his ghost sitting on his front porch with that ax Halloween legend says he’s come back On one Halloween night it’s been told that he went mad and went on a killing spree You can still see the stained blood that remains on a nearby tree You can still hear their screams that jump start your worst nightmares alive And see him creeping around the corner up on the hill waiting for someone to arrive Every now and then his swing on the porch will swing back and forth without any breeze Reminding us that his soul will never leave So if you dare to walk by his house on Halloween Night Be prepared to see Old Man Bill in his creepy sight He’ll be holding that blood stained ax in his hand with a sharpened blade He’ll be lurking in the darkness behind his unmarked graves Be ready for Old Man Bill to show himself again At least that's what has been told in this Halloween Legend..
Brace yourself Happy Halloween

Yes!! Another awesome Halloween prize that you have written my friend! I really enjoyed this fully delightful and energetic piece that you have written here! I loved having read this fine poem this morning! I would have read it last night but I couldn't hold my eyes open any longer! But it was just as good to read this morning Gail! I thoroughly loved this thriller of an old legend...just made up or true? I love the real ones, but this one, if made up, is awesome on its own too! Great Work!!
