Rose petals
Rose petals are the cups that store romance,
They are spread on the floor when you slowly dance.
Rose petals are the boats of love in your bath,
They are the symbols of a lovers path.
True love comes from roses that are compared,
When petals touch and they are brightly flared.
Rose petals are tossed to see a magical light,
To see a colorful butterfly take flight.
The drops of rain that slowly flow down the petals,
Will fall to the ground to be silently settled.
Rose petals that bloom in the morning sun,
Will spread as the petals are overrun.
