This poem reflects an experience that I had in Sept. 1974 in an alcohol treatment center. I came to realize a couple of weeks later that the desire to drink alcohol was taken away and have not wanted to take a drink in the last 38 years. Amazing grace shown by a loving God.
A quite bright ray of light came from the ceiling Directly to my heart, such a peaceful, warm feeling The one word repeated over and over was love The darkness overcome by light sent from above
