About This Poem

My Dripping Pen

When I had nothing left to give I gave you me...
Through all my faults I still stayed free..

While my pen drips words I couldn't say...
You can taste my passion in a silent way...

Hold your body close to the paper and listen...
It will reach out and touch your lips and glisten...

The juices pour down my pages and stain your fingers...
Leaving an impression of warmth and love that lingers...
