A She Shell

I am no body
husk of maiden, shell of she
smiling Buddha cheeked
children crawl from crossed legs
poetry flies from my hands

Very nice write about new born beauties...like your poetry: so fresh and so clean, coming right from the sea, born from the waves of a purifying spirit. I love this very special masterpiece, Debbie! Love, Hanitra

A wonderful write, Debs! Knocked me off balance with "A She Shell"!:) I was thinking sea shell, but if this were so you've blown an amazing write through your conch shell. "husk of maiden, shell of she"...love these images! Keep well..love, Mikki :)

I get that last line that Matt commented on. You said it just right for the way you were trying to make unusual images in your poem

I think that flows would be better than flies in the last line. That being said I like the smiling Buddha in the 3rd line. Peace & Love Matthew Anish
