Seasons Of Life

Our lives are like the Seasons, we come and we go. In Spring we are born, then we bloom with beautiful colors. After that comes Summer. We are all grown. We are living our dreams, then we have our own children. Autumn comes next, our children are all grown and have children of their own. Our hair once dark, or bright with color, starts to turn grey. We can now see the change. Last, but not least comes Old Man Winter. He comes to settle a score. He brings cold winds, ice and snow. The trees lose their leaves and a lot of the plants die. He kills everything. Like the last Season, we too must die, so a new generation can come and be born next Spring. The Seasons of life can be beautiful, when we learn to live them right...

We are no different in our life cycle, than all that inherit this planet, but we do have the power to make a difference, and you do with your wonderful poetry....

Nice comparison of one's lifetime to the seasons within a year's time. Reminds me of a song made famous by Bobby Goldsboro.
