at the journey’s end
stripped bare; barren, withered tree---
lies in final sleep

It is such a dramatic sad poem...but isn't that where we are all headed, best to be there in a state of preparedness so the waking-up-morning will be a joyous one. A beautiful Haiku, my sis. Always outdoing yourself. Thanks for lovely comments. One love and hope all is well. Joy Wells
