Queen
rocking one’s socks off
the Mercury just got higher
on Rock ‘n’ Roll.

    Hey, I missed this one next to your Chuck Berry. Clever use of "Mercury." You should do a bunch of clerihews on ALL your favorite rock stars. When I searched out clerihews on Soup, this one had never shown up. But I did see Chuck Berry. I'm glad your eyes must be improved to be doing soup again. More prayers for you that they don't get worse again.

    Love the mercury image (do you Brits say 'roll up the sidewalks' to mean close the stores & send the old folks home?) If so, try, (or is this for a contest?) Queen rocking our sox off Mercury just got higher time to roll up the sidewalks
