Phthalo Blue

Phthalo Blue and White
My
White spirit is lifted
And poured ceremoniously yet with an air of joy
As colours are mixed upon the plate
To paint
A baby boy
Each shade and light I know so well now
As the lines on my left palm
I hope to reproduce his smile
With the very same
Gentle charm
I don't even know his name yet
But I know the phthalo blue which rest as his eyes
As gentle little halos though so young
Appear
Strikingly

Do you paint Karen? Pthalo blue is on every painters palette and is a beautiful color. The child with eyes this color is truly lucky! :)

I think Phthalo would make a great name for powerful soul - I like how you combine joy with ceremony, thats the way they should be - oft times ceremonies and rituals are too stale, rigid and excessively solemn - equating painting with procreation is a wonder stroke Karen - J.A.B. %
