About This Poem
Diamond Eyes
Diamonds in your gaze free fall
The spirit overcomes our hunger,
To stand among the pine trees tall,
Starving to manage the thunder.
Diamond eyes vulnerable yet cool,
Charity woven in all your devotion.
Sea of creation in turbulent pools,
Stars light-up over this night's sweet ocean.
Search me with your angelic stare,
One gaze and you'll find a depth of flames.
Search within me how longing cares,
The touch of my hand is never tame.
Diamond eyes come closer to me,
And sail the twilight to make us free.
