AUTUMN
Oh dusk of the year
Blowing so cool
I welcome thee
A time to gather
A time to recollect
A time to get ready for the
Winter's night
Your cool breeze
Does Tingle my skin
It feels so sweet after the summers heat
Oh autumn how I have missed thee so
A cup of tea
A warm fire
Makes me content
Experiencing thee
Natures bounty doth seem so full
I marvel at the blessings you
Seem to bring
Oh time of harvest
Oh time of coming rest
I doth warmly welcome thee
My feet can rest
Oh how weary they seem
The end of day seems a welcome treat
I think I have done my best
Only winter's passing will sadly tell
The work is near done
And now
I Oh so long for
Sweet peaceful rest
Winters night so cold and bleak
May your torment of autumn
be oh so weak
May the warm glow of the sun
And nights so cool
Be prolonged
