Love how you bring nature into your writes, Joann. Feels thirsty here, it will have a fresher aspect after the rain. Great imagery that brings this scene to life! Have a great weekend....Mikki :)

Sounds like a lazy summer day. I love Iced Tea. I live in Texas and it has been very hot here. We need some cool weather and a lot of rain. Thanks for sharing. Joann, you read the wrong poem. It is not my Birthday. The system made an error. Please read the one for Debbie. Lucilla

This seems to be all too true with the weather in the South! When I lived there and the temperature got way too high, there always was a huge thunderstorm that would come! Would arrive with full force and a large amount of lightning and wind! This would also be true to some extent up North! This poem described the event so very well my friend! I really enjoyed this awesome poem! Fantastic piece, Great Work!!
