About This Poem

the Weather Forecast Today

The weatherman said sunny today.
All the dark clouds have blown away.
Yes, the sun is shining in sky so blue.
Most of what he said seems to be true
but he didn't mention the wind from the north.
How it blows and blows and now brings forth
a chill that burrows deep inside.
I'm sure the weatherman's filled with pride
because, yes, it's sunny we have to admit
but the cold north wind stings a bit.
It seems like summer from behind the window,
just step outside though and feel it blow.

The cold weather comes earlier to those at a more northern latitude. Good write as usual.
