The Cold Facts Of Life

She thought of herself as an impeccable woman
So often mistaken for a Goddess between peasant
Until the man of her dreams stole her virtue
In the cold water on Lake George he weighs her down
Too often shadows block our visions
When infatuation is mistaken for love;
Impeccable and careless! With her life
She became the cold facts about love

    'so sad Annie, so much emotion written here, but i believe there is someone somewhere for everyone, and yes i know sometimes one needs an awful lot of luck finding that person. the poem speaks volumes to so many and that is sad.......
