Devil's Drive-Thru

My emotions are disconnected and broken up…
Kind of like all this stuff in the back of my truck…
I drive aimlessly to the next distress…
Trying not to spill my coffee and make a mess…
I finally come to a fork in the road…
One sign says: to dreams, and it’s paved in gold…
The other sign says: this way to hell…
I’m indecisive, as if you couldn’t tell…
So making the wrong choice, as I usually do,
I stop for a bite at the Devil’s drive-thru…
