Tell them you changed meanings
To cope with the times
Did you in the dim old beginnings
See these altered climes
And your broken throne of color?
Did you see folks rising
To reclaim from whip and squalor
Their supreme meaning
Of forgiveness and pure sacrifice?
Your philosophy falters
Power no longer comes through vice
Alone, so tone alters.
Now you beg our votes, now we
You prevent from heaven
See you begging from hell, we see
You politically driven
And lying about your bad identity.
Great Mormon brother
Now you strangle the noose of celebrity,
My compassion is fodder
Is for pain. Too false, too false this
The armour of chivalry
Too false the knight above my abyss
Too false your dead history.
