    Joann you are almost in ballad meter [common meter 8/6/8/6] most sonnets are 10-12 syllables per line iambic meter and the last two lines are a conclusion. This could easily be tweaked into a nice ballad with 2 more lines and evening out the syllable count. A bit harder to get it shaped up into a sonnet BUT it could be done ;) Light & Love

    I don't know many flowers by their given names, but these I'm mostly familiar with! What a beautiful rendition of a poem, bringing flowers to their primal light! Very beautiful Joann, Great Work!!

    Very nice Sonnet...I writing about your contest...since I have never had a wedding I thought I would write about traveling in California, the Freeway Capital of the world. But I'd like to know where about in California you are going so I can give you tips... thanks Julie Heckman
