Debbie Guzzi Date: 9/5/2012 2:49:00 PM Joann you are almost in ballad meter [common meter 8/6/8/6] most sonnets are 10-12 syllables per line iambic meter and the last two lines are a conclusion. This could easily be tweaked into a nice ballad with 2 more lines and evening out the syllable count. A bit harder to get it shaped up into a sonnet BUT it could be done ;) Light & Love
