Face To Face

An image of myself I stare
How you’ve grown, Oh how you’ve changed
Those Ideals you swung taunt me
You’re something pure and innocent
Novel to the world and acquitted of its sin
While I am anchored in its seas
I stand abashed to say that I am you
Our eyes meet in only but retention
In this realm where you remain the same
While I am Soiled, I hold you dear
As a reflection that I may embody once again.

Ronny, I find this conversation with yourself fascinating. You find the good and the not so good but still accept the person you are. I really enjoyed the depth of thought that went into this and will try talking to myself for there is much needing to be straightened out! Luv, Lizzie
