Angel's Captured Journey
One night an angel was flying towards her journey
A path she had to fly back to heaven above
Instead, she stopped admiring the stars shining so softly
She knew instantly, that was the light shining from heaven above
The angel stood there for awhile being a part of the sky
She was radiated with such warmth and strength as she stayed
Though she knew her time had come to expand her wings to fly
Towards an angel's journey to heaven where Jesus loved and prayed
As she continued to fly, she kept looking back at the stars behind
Knowing their soft lights were still touching her in comfort and joy
Guiding her towards heaven where Angels' hearts all intertwine
From a place where an angel's captured journey remains for them to enjoy..
