Wistful Soul

alone
again
without
a friend,
in this
world,
simply
a lonely
has-been,

without
anyone
to cherish
no one
to love,
all but
forgotten
except
up above,

adrift
in time,
amidst
ebbless
flows,
a person
whom
nobody
knows,

a solitary
someone
exposed,
this life’s
distant,
nomadic
passerby
juxtaposed
