About This Poem

one more day

One more day is behind us,
lost for ever in the ocean of life,
quietly as it can be,
as lonely streets with no one to walk with,
street lights are the only witnesses,
lighting the way to my home,
as I walk down the road,
my heart is crying
deep inside the chest
calling your name,
but you...........
you're def,
where are you,
who knows that?

One more day is over,
gone for ever,
lost for ever in the ocean of life,
you,
but you,
where things went wrong for us,

Alone time is can drag on but it may also be a good time to just move on not mourning the past but time to embrace tomorrow. I enjoyed the write.
