COINS IN THE WISHING WELL--

Tossing paise coins in the wishing well Grabbed a handful from mother's brass pot My empty purse, wishes have a story to tell Mum unaware: loves and trusts me a lot Grabbed a handful from mother's brass pot For eating some pepsi cola candies too Mum unaware: loves and trusts me a lot And bribed cousin who saw, here sis, one for you For eating some pepsi cola candies too Feast for the poor street child with hopeful eyes And bribed cousin who saw, here sis, one for you Jingling sound of paise coins felt so nice Feast for the poor street child with hopeful eyes Just few paise left now for the wishing toss Jingling sound of paise coins felt so nice Balance sheet of coins versus wish at a loss Just few paise left now for the wishing toss My empty purse, wishes have a story to tell Balance sheet of coins versus wish at a loss Tossing paise coins in the wishing well Country:India Yesha Shah 14/08/2012 For Cyndi and Rhonda's Penny pantoums *pepsi cola candies: frozen ice candies packed in small cylindrical plastic bags and available with every local grocer

So paise coins are like pennies for you? This is a fun tale about your childhood. The pepsi cola candies sound fascinating. Wish I could try some. Good luck in the contest! Luv, Andrea
