Burn the gallows to the ground,
Cease to follow fear.
Raise your voice, make a sound.
The revolution’s near.
Some may die for our cause,
But their passion reaps rewards.
Find and fix our nation’s flaws,
Let words ring like chords.
The people become incendiaries,
Waiting to ignite.
Anger rises; on wings it’s carried
To the one who’ll start the fight.
Your leaders have broken a tacit bond,
Now answer to us from dusk ‘til dawn.
