I want to be me
I want to run and be free,
I want to play the guitar on my bended knee.
I want to scream and let everyone know,
I want to live my life that is whole.
I want to dye my hair bright red,
I want to stay up late and never go to bed.
I want to read all the books that I can,
I want to lay on the beach in the sand.
I want to listen to loud music and jam,
I want to play the drums and hit them bam.
I want to draw the most beautiful picture in my mind,
I want to meet an amazing friend that is kind.
I just want to be me and have fun each day,
I just don't care what people have to say.
I'm me and only me,
If you don't like how I am you can run and flee.
