INNOCENCE GUN

In the days gone by,
None saw my track marks,
Nor my foot prints,
On the sand of life.
Curious to leave a mark,
Experience taught me the craft, but
No one accepted the change, that
Curiosity has earned,
Even though, I proclaimed it
'Gone were the years of innocence
Unto which I was born into, and
No more the childish silly smile'

this one is very interesting!! I found it way back here without any other comments but my own. That's too bad. It's one of your best poems.
