Soup for Lunch

I'm becoming extinct
signposted – one way
Old hats wear me down
cruising on empty
walking the waters – eddy’s
circles spin me round
Dappled light defused sound
kick the struggle
shackles round my ankles tight
down you go one – two – three
Silver fish look better here
than served with salad
on a dish
Wave hello – say goodbye
dinner for all - please - invite your
friends to call
Ripples on the surface fade…
water intake saturate
In death I will keep my dreams
Soup for lunch would suit me well...
