As It Was Meant To Be
This is our prayer to You for each day
To set our hearts upon eternal things
You are sovereign; You are in control
Of whatever tomorrow to us brings
This life is but a wisp; a mere vapor
Treasures stored up on earth will pass
Each breath and heartbeat is Your gift
Only works done for Your glory will last
A brilliantly wonderful future we have
Perfect, Heavenly harmony of life anew
Joy unspeakable; as it was meant to be
And forever we will be worshipping You
