Many hard hours spent on wishes and dreams to come true
Boughten borrowed, thought throughly through
Many late nights and missed I love yous
All what we're here for, now there's little left to do
You'll stand around for hours, surrounded by crews
With news papers in hand tracking the daily news
Good luck to all
Big and small
Honoring our countries by participation
Brought together with-in congregation
Watching events from the comforts of our homes
We give thanks to the King and Queen who made it possible
And while we watch their Oylmpics we'll all feel our spirits roam
For a wee little second we'll all taste a scone
