My Heart
My heart is wound around your heart.
Mine is sustained by the beat of yours every day.
My dreams are wrapped around your dreams,
As I find peace in your arms and ways.
My vision is colored in life’s beauty
And you were the one to show it to me.
My happiness grew out of the knowledge
Of the life you built with me.
You taught me how to love this world
Amid all the tragedies that befall a life.
And you taught me to find God’s way
When he brought you, my soul mate, into my life.
