foundering trust,
revered teachers
from biblical truth
have gone astray,
servant leadership
observant believers
yet willfully obey,
holier-than-thou
moralistic clergy
orating untruths,
rehearsed sayings
misspoken under
consecrated roofs,
learned ministers
faux shepherds
well-versed lies,
on Sunday morn
loyal worshipers
yet dutifully rely
