The Chill

The wind was such
that wisps of hair
whipped the face
Into
Apple red blushes

While the cold caught
the breath
in cotton clouds
discharging
to the air

And the misty drizzle
dampened the spirit.
Limp and lifeless,
it matched her eyes.
