From the Mouth

Let not the lamp go out,
eyes flickering
like lost fire,
for they say:
'In sickness and in doubt',
yet I'm made dire,
drowned, mad again
with salty words,
but love escapes,
still,
like bubbles,
birds,
hatching quietly
from the mouth
