    Great expressions Carol you have captured in these three beautiful lines revealing the truth of life. It also reveals the hard truth of trees which have become the soft target of hungry humans. I too have composed a ( Folk Song (Lok Geet) on trees, clouds and Rains and hope to place it soon on PS as well as on You Tube.     we can live here even as now because of trees .they works always for us from a free oxygen factory to a match box stick .but how do we consider them .dear poetess ,this poem is a nice tribute to all trees .this poem will put a spark in the hearts of all readers .if it works so that is the most valuable award ever you might get .a writer cannot change this world .but he can dream and teach his readers how this world be .you do it now with single haiku .so inner meaning this haiku has . thanks.jk
