As a parent it's hard to conceive such a loss. I don't think anyone ever gets over losing a child, only learn to cope. This made me cry.

Nathan...a unique idea for a poem and a wonderful dedication...I believe every one of them is just like u wrote,..right by God's side! There was a story on our local news of a toddler who ate a bunch of blood pressure pills of his parent who was outside smoking a cigarette. The child was found dead on the living room floor...My heart sunk so deep to hear of this tragedy...Thanks for the kind appreciation of my little java bean poem..I wrote it as one of my earlier poetry soup poems. It was a passionate write. Great contest! gwendoeln

This is really wonderful for you to do a poem for these kinds of children. There are far too many of them! And I know PD loves rainbows, so she must have inspired you to include them in the words. Thanks for my placement in your contest. I was very surprised since it was not coffee. Thanks so much for letting us include caffeine beverages as well!

Sad topic on which you have chosen to write this very good work..It is very sad for a child to die an untimely death..The parents are left with a void that nothing can fill..The good part is heaven awaits the child and the parents can join someday..Thanks for stopping by, reading, and commenting on my work..Your comments were uplifting..Sara
