Catkins, Catkins peek out your furry head Upon the branchlet within the meadow Remember curiosity killed the cat, stone dead Nature's furry, cocoons upon the willow Beat the leaf and spring shall come As soon the tides of green will follow Flowers show her your highest respect On the gentle mind in awe of sallow Catkins, catkins earnestly lead the season in Please us with the freshest, your purring us affects

    This starts like a triolet. Great images of the catkins, but I do not think this is the one you referred to in your blog.
