Shades of grey

So many blank faces
Uninterested, ignorant
To the trouble that surround
Them
The world crumbling
Around them
They still don't see a thing
Except you
You have face pain
And known
Sorrow
You look at the world
And still see the bright
I wish I could see what you do
Be amazed at the
Smallest things
Be able to love,
Like the love I feel from you
But I am broken
I saw the world and watched as it turned away
I had always wanted my world
Of colors
Yet the world only gave
Me shades of grey
