About This Poem
VEHICULAR MAN-SLAUGHTER
Equal rights supplied the vehicle of our journey.
See, I bare children, and then I bare raising them!
The seeds I sow within them, are in hopes of
producing Manna!
I'm the rock, the house is built upon.
I nurture, console, and guide through with the help
of prayer; knowing faith is the key that unlocks the
door!
My windshield is made of submission. Clearly no one
see's my dreams, because I became theirs. Overlooked
never; but seldom sought within. So I store dreams in
my trunk!
Mankind's proprietor, is rising like the sun. A new day.
I'm not just barefoot, and pregnant anymore. I've
become a go getter. Realities are dreams that were
had!
Where the wo-man is driving too, the cobblestone
insures a rough ride. Gender change within the
presidency. I would promote peace. Wars kill the
sons, and daughter's we bare. For that I have a
conscience!
On the road to leadership, the tires are weathered.
But I must move along. Strength of our core, provides
the fuel; to move ahead, never looking in my rear view!
Our future hero!
