About This Poem
A Walk To Remember
There is this beautiful lake we walk to sometimes
All around it weeping willows we see today
The breeze is blowing the willow branches to and fro
Across the water the ripples are running so freely
Ducks are flying across the lake what a sight to see
Birds are landing on willow branches low
We sit on a little hill with the water just below
The water so clear we see the fish swimming by
As we sit upon the hill we eat our picnic lunch
Then we lay back and stare at the sky above
The sky so blue with clouds of pure white
Like giant marshmellows in our sky of blue
We are talking and laughing the day away
It soon comes time to head back up the path
You turn to me, smile, and ask "Will you marry me?"
Oh yes I will marry you, I answer you back
