About This Poem
Be Careful
Be careful mind, eyes, and ears
What you think, see, and hear
Focus on what’s pure and right
God’s Word makes this clear
It’s so easy to get caught up
By sin’s dark, empty illusions
What promises such happiness
Brings nothing but confusion
Temptations are all around us
Pressing at us from all sides
If we're walking with Him
We’ll see through the lies
What God has commanded
He’s done for our own good
To keep us from destruction
To obey Him as we should
His love for us is boundless
It's past our comprehension
Once astray, yet He saved us
By His grace beyond mention
