About This Poem

Nightlife

As the moon wafts a brilliant smile
Stars wink in reaction for miles
Gently night tucks in

Darkness settles in with silence
Nocturnal beings residence
Till sunrise ascends

Natural meter, that's my game. With never a line that is the same. I've never been one for dictation. Some think I have a lazy reputation. But I enjoy the fruits of your labor. I just don't know how to wield that saber.
