Life of a soldier

I am a soldier Head up steady marching forward Always on the look out for battle Ready for conflict On the look out for false spies The ones that pretend to be in your life Turn on you soon as you turn your head One mistake and you'll wind up dead In constant battle with the enemy The affects of war does not phase me Not realizing all the people that praise me I just march on steadily Focused on the love of family To keep me alive The love of a lover To help me survive Only trust my comrades Their with me through the struggle I got their back they got mine For now until the end of time Always prepared for betrayal Ready for a sneaky ambush Staying alive for one sweet lady The life of a soldier
