Final Throes

Something lost..empty feeling
Press me down`til Im kneeling
Heartbreak it all come and goes
Feeling lost,like in final throes

                   ~

Nothing justifies being banned
Hurt,anger..none of it planned
Every now and then,live it out
Soul bleeding..left in a drought

                   ~

Lay my heart on a shiny table
Such a despair feeling..unable
Scarred for life,its all so wrong
Get it back..the feel of belong

                   ~

Behind my mask,so vulnerable
Makes it nearly unapproachable
There`s a reason to be a fighter
So much for that,Im only a writer

                ~~~
Its fictional,but still I can imagine how sad it must feel to being left out.
    Arlid, it can be heartbreaking... I mean, I can feel,,, the sadness when one is always left out... I'm that kind of gal..who finds way, of making feelings like that go away... Like here on the soup...I give attention, to many un-read poems.. I hate the feeling of some one never being approached.. life has much to gain,, and kindness is one... and when it comes to reason, fighting is a good concept depends,, where it's coming from,,always..~pd
    Hello Arlid - Like the insightful ways you describe this feeling. My favorites are - "Press me down 'til I'm kneeling" "Soul bleeding...left in a drought"..."Lay my heart on a shiny table"..."The way you describe these feelings. - Gail
    You are so sensitive Arild, being able to feel another person's loss is so precious in this world that seems unavailable when we need some comfort. Your sould shines through in this lovely verse. Love, Elizabeth
    Arild, Dane Ann and I will be gone April 12 through 19 on a charter fishing trip in the Keys. You'll have more fun in the Mediterranean, unless you want to meet a goliath grouper. Yes, when we are all back home, I think we should try a collaboration. Thanks! Have a terrific vacation (she says enviously). Love, Carolyn
    Gosh, this in incredible, Arild! At some point in our lives, most of us have felt "left out." The sadness and despair come through so well in your poem. Now I can see why you liked the the poem Alexa and I wrote. There is nothing worse that feeling alone, lonely and left out. One day you should join us in a co-write. Love and blessings, Carolyn
    I can totally relate. I am feeling like that right now, along with a sprinkling of rage. I hate being left out and biased against, especially by people here. anyway, Love your 2nd verse. "soul bleeding...left in a drought" great line :)
    Arild, I muchly enjoyed this newest poem of yours. There are some pretty clever lines in it and I loved that ending: so much for that, I'm only a writer. Sometimes I feel that way, very jaded!! Great title too. Luv, Andrea
