beyond the pale

Life inflicted a resounding defeat on you,
down the drain you lied flat as a pancake;
for many years you've been silent,
a phrase of call in the eye of the storm woke you up
the fullness of your heart was needled,
so you rummaged the future tirelessly,
you searched hard for faint solace,
for the last drop of hope,
now since you've been back we never stopped crying
we never stopped complaining
but your caliber seem to be the framer of your innefable core,
the composer of your innermost breath;
now we know why for we watched when you died the death.
