Moon

The moon shows up at night
And gives us all light

The Moon gets its light from the sun
This helps us all have some fun

The moon can weigh more than a ton
But its light helps our work get done

It’s really weird people have many myths about the moon
But who can prove it because people make myths very soon

And people "make myths very often" is, I think what you allude to...I agree. I like this because it makes me think of the light - to "shine the light" on something, could mean many different things to different people. No wonder we're confused :-)
