Shackled

Deep inside this hardened shell,
a lock tightly closes
the wounds of life.
The key has been hidden
from its owner...by its owner.
The lock is inpenetrable,
old, and rusty;
it closes all hurts, all wounds.
It shows no scars.
Some have tried to open...
all have failed.
Deep inside, they are hidded away -
gone from sight, but never forgotten;
Truth is at the center...however ugly.
The lock rusts more each day,
the key is still missing...
always missing.
